Starting a small business requires more than just a good idea. At the North Country SBDC, we can help you bring your idea from concept to reality by counseling you through the business planning process.

· Leadership – your ability to bring your vision into focus and recognize your strengths and weaknesses, both in your business model and in the marketplace

· Operations – your understanding of the “customer cycle,” or the flow of your products or services to your customers, from concept/production to delivery

· Marketing – your ability to communicate the benefits of your products to your customers and develop your strategy to continually grow the sales of your business

· Financial – the capital required to start your business, your budget, forecasts and key performance indicators that will determine overall success
